Art, Letters, and Song in Easton

03 Jul 2018 3:31 PM | David Healey (Administrator)

Put together a painting on an easel, a few hundred well-chosen words, the artist’s revelations with a musical impression and what do you have?  A loosely literary afternoon of fun, modeled after MariBeth Fischer’s long-running “Art in the A.M.”

Our Easton adaptation features three area artists who have supplied their paintings for exhibition, along with nine local writers and a popular musician.  The pictures will be displayed on easels on a stage where the writers will read their interpretation of the work (three per picture) followed by the artist explaining her vision, and the musician providing his impressions.

The event is scheduled for Friday, July 27, 3:00 P.M. at The Blue Crab Coffee Shop, 102 S. Freemont St. in St. Michael’s, next door to the library. Open to the public, admission is free although a good will offering will be welcome to help offset expenses.  Hope to see ESWA supporting one of their own local wings.
