David P. Kozinski’s second full-length book of poems, I Hear It the Way I Want It to Be, was been published by Kelsay Books in January 2022. The book’s original manuscript was a finalist for the Inlandia (California) Institute’s 2020 Hillary Gravendyke Prize. Publications include Tripping Over Memorial Day (Kelsay Books) and his chapbook Loopholes (Broadkill Press) which won the Dogfish Head Poetry Prize. Kozinski is the Resident Poet at Rockwood Park and Museum in New Castle County, Delaware, and was the Delaware Division of the Arts 2018 Established Professional Poetry Fellow. He serves on the boards of the Eastern Shore Writers Association, the Manayunk-Roxborough Art Center and the Editorial Board of Philadelphia Stories magazine, and is Art Editor for Schuylkill Valley Journal. He presented workshops at the 2021 and 2022 Bay to Ocean Conferences.
