Our Second Saturday program for November offers a singular treat for lovers of fine writing, fine interviewing, and fine broadcasting. Former ESWA president Hal Wilson will discuss what he has learned from hosting 50 installments of "Delmarva Today: Writer's Edition" on Delmarva Public Radio.

The program is free and open to the public. Attendees are responsible for their own meal purchases.

Harold O. "Hal" Wilson lives with his wife Marilyn on Kent Island on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. He is a writer and a radio host for Delmarva Public Radio.  In addition to the recently published novel, A Taste of Salt, Wilson’s writings include The Night Blooming Cereus and Other Stories, a novella and short stories. He also publishes essays, poetry, literary criticism, and short stories on his website, www.haroldowilson.com. Most recent short story currently featured on the website is “Habits of Devotion.” In addition to writing, Wilson hosts the monthly “Delmarva Today: Writer’s Edition” for Delmarva Public Radio at WSDL 90.7 and hosts the quarterly “Delmarva Radio Theatre” which airs on Delmarva Public Radio’s classical music station at WSCL 89.5. Both programs are streamed at www.delmarvapublicradio.net and program podcasts are found on the same website. Wilson is co- fiction editor of The Delmarva Review. Wilson is also a past president of The Eastern Shore Writer’s Association.
