Write On! is an adult group that meets under the sponsorship of the Caroline County Council of Arts. Meetings focus on a single trigger word or phrase, and members can base their writing on memory or personal reflection related to that topic, or even make up a story, but you can choose to write about whatever you like. This is not a writing class, but writers can ask for feedback on their work if they wish, and encouragement is always positive. The suggested length is 500-700 words (though we don’t count them); all have a chance to share their work with the group and to choose their own genre. Some write memoirs, some fiction, some essays, some poetry. All are welcome! Led by long standing ESWA member Keith Shaffer. Meeting Times: 2nd & 4th Tuesday of every month at 6:30 PM.
