JOHN COMPTON is a gay poet from Kentucky who lives with his husband, Josh, and their dogs and cats. John currently serves as the poetry editor at Ghost City Press Review, founder and managing editor of Voice Lux Press, and guest judge of Thirty West Publishing House’s 2023 7th Wavelength Chapbook Contest. He is the former host and creative mind behind 'the jojo show' interviews with some of the hottest poets in the world which ran for over 100 episodes, available on Facebook. Recent books include the full length, the castration of a minor god (Ghost City Press) and the chapbooks, how we liberated what secrets we modified (2023, Etched Press), blacked out borderland from an exponential crisis (Ethel Zine and Micro Press), and melancholy arcadia (Harbor Editions).
