Join us for this generative writing session in honor of Mental Health Awareness month, and open to writers in all genres. This session, led by mental health professional Lynne Schmidt who has a focus in trauma informed care and emotion focused therapy, will foster the use of "grounding" as a technique for processing traumatic memories, and how to successfully write through these challenging experiences to promote healing. Three to four prompts will be offered, as well as a safe space for sharing small segments as comfortable. _________________
