ANNE MARIE WELLS is an award-winning poet, playwright, and memoirist. Her books include Survived By: A Memoir in Verse + Other Poems (Curious Corvid Publishing, 2023), Mother, (v) (Cinnamon Press chapbook contest winner, 2024), and the children’s books Mommy, Why Am I a Bird (University of Coimbra Press, 2015) and Underwater Explorers & Rescuers (Ethical Seafood Research Publishing, 2025). Her writing prompt book, Write Some Cool Sh!t debuted with Star Belt Press in 2025, and her travel memoir Happy Iceland will be released in 2026. She works as a freelance editor and writing coach.
