For centuries, queer fiction has been the hidden-in-the-margins link between everything from children's tales to poetry, to modern horror stories. In this lecture, audience members will learn why queer representation matters now more than ever. Through the eyes and words of Oscar Wilde, James Baldwin, Emily Dickinson, Wu Tsao, and others, the audience will hear from the ones who shaped its history by refusing not to be seen. _________________
